How to start your brand design apparel?

If you want to start your brand clothing business, how do you design your favourite apparel quickly?

1. Design the pattern.

If you are not good at the design software, you can send your favorite pattern to the supplier to make a design. 2. Choose the fabric

If you don’t know much about clothes, it will be better to have the supplier to recommend some popular fabrics. Or you can send the fabrics you like to the supplier, who may source the similar or the same fabrics. The function and comfort of the fabric will vary depending on the composition.

3. Get the size chart

Ask your supplier to provide you with a size chart that is suitable for your market. You can also refer to the size charts of online shops. It is important to note that different countries will have different sizing charts. The size tolerances ±1cm is acceptable because the clothes produced by workers and when the fabric is stretchy.

4. Logo

Your logo can be in different kind of workmanship, such as sublimation printing, heat press rubber logo, screen printing, embroidery. You can confirm the position of the logo, the size of the logo, and also design the hang tag, washing label with your logo. If you are not familiar with the these in details, you can communicate with the supplier for getting more example. Then you can make a decision based on the supplier’s suggestions and your own ideas.
